Keith I. Linn, Psy.D.,P.C. - Licensed Psychologist
 

 Dr. Linn is a clinical member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA) and a Board Member for the Oregon Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (OATSA).  He is also a member of the American Psychological Association and Oregon Psychological Association.   The evaluator has served as an expert witness in U.S. Federal Court, Clark County in Washington, and the following Oregon counties: Baker, Clatsop, Columbia, Deschutes, Douglas, Hood River, Jackson, Jefferson, Klamath, Lane, Lincoln, Linn, Marion, Multnomah, Tillamook, Union, Wasco, Washington, and Yamhill.


Dr. Linn is a native Oregonian.  He received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Washington University in St. Louis.  Dr. Linn began his mental health training in 1992 co-facilitating treatment groups, conducting psychophysiological testing, and assisting offenders with cognitive behavioral therapies at McGovern and Associates.   He received his Doctorate in clinical psychology from Denver University Graduate School of Professional Psychology in 1998.  His graduate education focused on forensic assessment and adult psychotherapy.  
Dr. Linn completed his pre-doctoral internship at Northwest Ohio Consortium where he worked with a variety of forensic and neuropsychological populations.


After completing his graduate education, Dr. Linn did his residency at the Joseph J. Peter’s Institute (JJPI) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  He was the primary evaluator in JJPI’s Juvenile Sex Offender program.  After becoming licensed in Pennsylvania in 1999, Dr. Linn became the Director of the Adult Sex Offender and Forensic programs.   During his time in Philadelphia, Dr. Linn received specialized training in polygraphy, the assessment of psychopathy, and use of the Abel Assessment of Sexual Interest.


Dr. Linn returned to the Pacific Northwest in 2001 to again work with Dr. McGovern.  He established a private practice in 2004 which caters exclusively to forensic evaluation.  Dr. Linn has also pursued specialized training and certification in the assessment and treatment of sexual addiction for a variety of Internet related legal issues including luring and child pornography charges.   The evaluator has facilitated well over 2500 forensic psychological evaluations for use in the court system.
