Evaluation Process: 

I strive to provide comprehensive, forensic evaluations which considers a variety of sources.  Regardless of the nature of the referral question, it is the goal of the evaluator to produce a report which offers the reader a full view of the examinee’s strengths, areas of struggle, diagnostic considerations, and interventions to promote greater health and stability.   I also appreciate that the people we evaluate are under incredible stress and great efforts are made to familiarize them with the assessment process as well as the clinical findings.   

 

General Psychological evaluations typically consist of :

•    Chart review of relevant legal and mental health documents. 
•    Clinical Interview of the examinee with a focus on their life history
•    Psychological Testing measuring cognitive, social, and/or behavioral functioning. 
•    Live and/or Collateral Interviews of friends and family of the examinee. 
•    Comprehensive Psychological and Psychosexual Reporting.

 

Risk Assessment evaluations typically consist of:

•    Evaluations of Interpersonal and Sexual Violence. 
•    General Psychological Testing. 
•    Risk Assessment: Dr. Linn uses a variety of actuarial and structurally guided professional judgement tools, including the STATIC-99-R, STABLE, ACUTE-2007, SVR-20, and ERASOR
•    Malingering
•    Psychopathy Assessments
