September 2004 to Present -  Sole Proprietor of Clinical Private Practice Keith I. Linn, Psy.D., Portland, Oregon
Providing evaluation, psychological testing, expert testimony to a variety of forensic populations.  My areas of specialization include sexual violence, Ballot Measure 11, Guilty Except Insane, Aid and Assist, domestic violence, sexual addiction, and Internet Offenses.  Served as an expert witness in U.S. Federal Court and the following Oregon counties:  Baker, Clatsop, Columbia, Deschutes, Douglas, Hood River, Jackson, Jefferson, Klamath, Lane, Linn, Marion, Multnomah, Tillamook, Union, Wasco, and Yamhill. 

September 2001 to June 2005 - Associate and Coordinator of Juvenile Services McGovern and Associates, Portland, Oregon
Duties:    Provided forensic evaluation and treatment services to adult and juvenile sexual offenders as well as assisting in the standardization of treatment outcomes and program development.  My responsibilities included overseeing treatment services to juvenile sexual offenders, providing clinical supervision, and conducting outcome research.

November 1999 to August 2001 - Director of Adult and Forensic Services Joseph J. Peters Institute, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Duties:   Director of the Adult Sex Offender program and primary evaluator for the department. Responsibilities included personnel decisions, team supervision, program development, program marketing, and development of curriculum and outcome research in addition to facilitating group and individual therapies and conducting forensic evaluation with expert testimony.


September 1998 to November 1999- Psychology Resident Joseph J. Peters Institute
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Duties: 
  Primary evaluator for Juvenile Sex Offender program, conducting between two to three clinical evaluations per week with full written report.  Responsibilities also included handling a caseload of 15 clients, and three to four treatment groups as well as departmental psychological test administration and interpretation including the Abel Assessment of Sexual Interest.  The co-authored, successful proposal to provide inpatient juvenile sex offender services in the state of New Jersey.  

September 1997 to August 1998 - Psychology Intern Medical College of Ohio, Consortium for Internship Training (APA Approved), Toledo, Ohio
Duties:    Rotations included two six-month clinical tracks in forensic psychology (through the Court Diagnostic and Treatment Center) and neuropsychology (through the Flower Rehabilitation Hospital).  At the Court Diagnostic and Treatment Center, a variety of court-referred psychological evaluations were conducted.  Associated responsibilities included administration of psychological testing, interpretation of test results, report generation, and formulation of treatment recommendations.  The rotation at the Flower Rehabilitation Hospital included three neuropsychological assessments per week in addition to a full treatment caseload.    

February 1995 to  August 1997 - Therapist Program Consultation and Services for Offenders, Denver, Colorado
Duties:    Outpatient-based assessment and therapy with adult and adolescent sex offender populations.  Client population included a variety of developmental, mood, and personality disorders.  Complete psychological batteries administered to assess amenability for offense-specific treatment.  Therapy experience included group, family, and individual using.  Responsible for co-authoring the clinic’s treatment curriculum and outcome measures.  

August 1996 to July 1997 - Psychology Trainee University of Colorado and Metro State University Counseling Center, Denver, Colorado
Duties:    Individual and group therapy involving clients with a wide variety of presenting problems (including: substance abuse, depression, and relationship issues).  The counseling center drew from an ethnically and culturally diverse population.    

September 1995 to  August 1997 -  Psychology Trainee Professional Psychology Center Campus Psychology Clinic, Denver, Colorado
Duties:    Individual therapy with adults and children with a variety of mental health issues (including: attachment concerns, substance abuse, relationship issues, and impulse control).  Therapeutic approaches included psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused.  Through the clinic, I also conducted a child custody evaluation and a court-mandated competency evaluation 

September 1995 to August 1996 - Psychology Trainee Denver County Jail, Denver, Colorado
Duties:    Inpatient-based assessment and therapy with an adult criminal population. Responsibilities included conducting psychological evaluations.  Over the course of this placement, 40 psychological reports were completed.  Client population included a variety of mood, personality, and cognitive disorders.  Individual therapy utilized a number of cognitive behavioral and insight-oriented interventions.

October 1994 to  July 1995 - Psychology Trainee Mental Health Corporation of Denver
Denver, Colorado
Duties:    Outpatient-based therapy with dually diagnosed adults.  Individual, group, systemic, and milieu therapy with a variety of presenting problems (including: substance abuse, poverty, social skills deficits, learning disabilities, and impulse control).  Co-facilitated three therapy groups (substance abuse, depression, and anger management).  Responsibilities also included case management, report writing, and drug monitoring  

April 1992 to August 1994 - Technician/Group Therapist Kevin B. McGovern, Ph.D. and Associates, Portland, Oregon
Duties:    Outpatient-based assessment and therapy with adult and adolescent sex offender populations.  Therapy included individual and group using a cognitive behavioral approach.  Operated clinic’s penile plethysmograph and analyzed data.  Conducted patient intakes.
